Position Overview Color Kingdom is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Jewelry Quality Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and ensuring that all jewelry pieces meet company standards for craftsmanship, materials, and design accuracy before they reach our customers. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, strong knowledge of gemstones and metals, and a passion for maintaining the integrity of fine jewelry. Key Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, components, and finished jewelry pieces for quality, consistency, and adherence to design specifications Evaluate gemstones, metals, and finishes for authenticity, clarity, color accuracy, and craftsmanship Identify defects such as loose stones, plating inconsistencies, incorrect measurements, or structural weaknesses Document quality issues and generate detailed inspection reports Collaborate with production, design, and sourcing teams to address recurring quality concerns Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and company quality protocols Test and verify hallmark stamps, metal purity, and gemstone certifications where applicable Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to reduce defects and enhance product consistency Maintain accurate records of quality control checks, approvals, and rejections Assist in developing and updating quality control checklists and standard operating procedures Conduct final quality checks before packaging and shipment Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in gemology, jewelry design, or quality control is a plus 5-7 years of experience in jewelry quality control, gemology, or a related field Preferred: GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification or equivalent Experience with CAD/CAM jewelry design review Knowledge of hallmarking and metal purity testing standards Experience working with ERP or quality management software
