We are recruiting Senior Accountant post at the following location: Kuala Lumpur Job Descriptions: 1. Responsible for financial accounting including preparation of periodic financial reporting, management reports, submission of applicable taxes and handling full set of accounts; 2. To manage accounting operations, costing, budgeting and cash flow management; 3. Reviews, verifies and approves complex journal entries, general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and administrative systems; 4. Initiate internal control and procedures relating to finance, credit control, inventory and other account-related activities; 5. Assist in implementation of financial and accounting policies as well as improvising procedures and internal control to ensure compliance of accounting standard, company tax; 6. To monitor and oversee the collections and billing operations; 7. To supervise, monitor and provide guidance to subordinates on accounting related matters; 8. Overseeing internal audit functions and liaising with external parties for account related matters such as internal and external auditors, tax agents, lawyers etc; 9. Performing analysis of procurement and purchasing reports; 10. To provide necessary support to the Management in managing profitability of the business of the Group; Job Requirements: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance or any equivalent qualification (MIA, CPA); Candidate must be a qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA); Minimum 5 years working experience; Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and Google applications; and Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines, detail-oriented and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving.
