Financial Accountant Dynamic and fast-paced organisation 12-month fixed-term contract Immediate start The opportunity Fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and commercially astute Financial Accountant to join a thriving and growing organisation. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys a hands-on position, takes ownership of their work, delivers strong results, and is confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of financial information. You will be responsible for a broad range of financial accounting, month-end reporting, reconciliations, analysis, and audit activities. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the month-end close process Preparing and posting month-end journals, accruals, and adjustments Completing balance sheet and bank reconciliations Preparing monthly and weekly financial reports Assisting with financial analysis and variance reporting Reviewing financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Taking the lead on the external audit process Providing financial insights and support to the wider business Assisting the Financial Controller with ad hoc accounting and reporting requirements About you We are looking for a capable and commercially minded accountant with strong financial accounting experience. You will ideally have: 2–3 years' accounting experience in a similar financial accounting capacity Strong understanding of general accounting principles Experience with month-end processes and journal preparation Solid reconciliation experience Experience preparing financial reports and analysis Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of your work Apply now via the Seek link!
