Project Planner | Signage

About Us Join the vibrant team at Harry the Hirer, the premier name in the event and exhibition industry. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Signage Planner to join our Project team. In this role you will act as the central coordination hub between our Signage Production Team, Installation Manager and Event & Exhibition Planning Team, ensuring every signage project is delivered on time, to specification and to the highest standard. Skills and Experience Experience in project planning, scheduling or coordination, ideally within signage, print, events or a related trade environment Strong understanding of signage production processes including digital print, fabric/PVC, light boxes, vinyl, SAVs and LED/Neon Ability to read and interpret installation drawings, site plans and job specifications Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with OHS documentation including JSAs, SWMS and works permits highly desirable Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling/planning tools White Card and current Australian Driver's Licence essential Forklift (LF/Telehandler), EWP or Boom licence advantageous Must be available to work after hours and weekends where required Sound knowledge of WH&S practices Your duties will include: Develop and maintain detailed signage job schedules incorporating production lead times, delivery windows and installation timing Liaise with the Internal operations and sales departments (and from time-to-time external entities/parties) to confirm job briefs and production/installation specifications well in advance of build and production commencement Coordinate with the Installation Manager to plan site audits (where necessary), installation crews, site access requirements, and timing for each job Coordinate logistics to arrange timely delivery and collection of signage items to and from event sites Ensure all teams receive complete job information including delivery addresses, site contacts, induction requirements, installation drawings and access instructions, well in advance of each stage Maintain a real-time view of job status across production, installation and transport, escalating any risks to schedule or quality promptly to management Support the monitoring of job costs within project budgets Ensure compliance with client site safety requirements and OHS obligations including JSAs, SWMS and works permits Work across Victoria's major events and exhibitions including the Australian Open, F1 Grand Prix and Spring Racing Carnival Travel to regional Victoria or interstate if required If you're looking for a secure, growth-oriented role where you can be at the heart of Melbourne's best events and exhibitions, this is your opportunity to join Harry the Hirer and help us make every event exceptional.
