ME Education was founded in 2006 as an English language school and has since evolved into a comprehensive tutorial institution for learners of all ages. We specialize in academic tutoring for students following international or local curricula, including IB, AS & A-Level, IGCSE, AP, and DSE. Our extensive subjects include math, science, physics, biology, chemistry, English literature, geography, history, and more. In addition to subject tutoring, we provide standardized test preparation for US and UK exams, as well as school entrance exams. Our programs cater to students from kindergarten through primary, secondary, and up to university level. We also offer support for families navigating the admissions process and cultural transitions. We are seeking a qualified Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) with experience in international or local schools in Hong Kong to teach our students at the learning centers. Key Responsibilities To conduct English language lessons for both international and local students Be able to develop your material as needed and be on time for the scheduled class Be able to perform student assessments, develop teaching plans and implement curriculum lesson plans and educational programs for students within areas of expertise Prepare appropriate teaching materials and reports on student progress, set a learning goal Provide students with constructive feedback and assign homework Be well-informed and sensitive to cultural issues and build meaningful connections with students from diverse backgrounds Be friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic - show interest in your students and care about their progress; recognise different learning styles and student preferences Qualifications Hold appropriate professional qualifications CELTA or equivalent in-class TEFL or TESOL certificate (online TEFL will NOT be considered) Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree Teaching experience in IB, AS & A-Levels, IGCSE, AP or DSE with a proven record of score improvements among past students is a plus Native English speakers Passionate about teaching students, patient and creative Excellent communication skills Benefits Benefits of flexible schedules Competitive hourly rate Position available immediately All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser, and the privacy of the applicant's personal data will be ensured with security.
