About the role The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting the implementation, deployment and operation of secure, reliable and scalable application environments. The role will work closely with application developers, infrastructure, data, AI/ML and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments, system monitoring and infrastructure automation. Key responsibilities Implement, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management. Automate application build, testing, deployment and release processes across development, testing, staging and production environments. Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Manage Git-based source code repositories, version control, branching and release processes. Configure and support DevOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent. Support deployment of web applications, APIs, microservices, databases, data analytics and AI/ML services. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent tools. Support application environments across on-premise, cloud and hybrid infrastructure. Configure and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack or equivalent. Monitor application health, system performance, availability and resource utilisation. About you Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, System Engineering or related roles. Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation and administration. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent. Good knowledge of Linux administration. Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Experience deploying and supporting web applications, APIs and microservices. Understanding of NGINX, API gateways, load balancing, SSL/TLS and networking concepts.
