About the role You will provide person-centred support guided by each participant’s care plan, goals, preferences and assessed needs. Work is community-based and may involve travel between participants across Aireys Inlet, Anglesea, Torquay, Jan Juc, Bells Beach and Bellbrae. ESSENTIAL AVAILABILITY Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm What you may do · Personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming · Domestic assistance and light household tasks · Social support, companionship and assistance with community participation · Meal preparation and shopping assistance · Transport to appointments, shopping and community activities · Observe and report changes in a participant’s wellbeing, needs or circumstances · Complete accurate service records and follow care plans, policies and safe work practices What you will bring · Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or a relevant qualification, or currently working towards one · A current National Police Check and any other screening required for the role · A current driver licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle · A current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain these paid for by the organization · Strong communication skills, empathy, reliability and respect for participant choice, privacy and dignity · Confidence working independently in participants’ homes and using mobile systems for documentation What we offer · Excellent pay, kilometre reimbursement and travel allowances · Supportive local coordination and meaningful work in your community · Training and opportunities to build relevant skills and qualifications
