Java Programmer / Analyst Programmer

(Ref Number: jobs@0812_KW) Our client, a leading IT solution provider in Hong Kong, is now looking for high-caliber candidates to work on a large-scale government-related web application project. Java Programmer / Analyst Programmer Responsibilities: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of web-based applications on high-availability IT infrastructure, using Java EE (J2EE) across Linux or Windows platforms. Implement and deploy reporting solutions; candidates with strong Java skills but limited reporting experience will also be considered. Assist in system analysis, design, and technical specifications to meet business needs. Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in information systems design and development. Hands-on experience in Java and J2EE. At least 1 year of IT project experience in implementing reporting solutions (e.g., Crystal Reports/FineBI) is preferred. Candidates with exceptional Java skills will also be considered. Solid understanding of deploying applications on Linux or Windows server platforms within high-availability infrastructure. Experience in government or public sector projects is a plus. Fluent Cantonese and working English.
