Animal Teacher

About the role Tails Up is seeking a passionate and dedicated Animal Teacher to join our team in the Pasir Ris East, Changi Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our mission to directly contribute to the quality of care of our dogs but also educate the community about animal behaviour and management. Key responsibilities Adapt and deliver engaging educational curriculums for our community of dogs Directly contribute to the care and learning of our dogs daily, including training and husbandry Stay current with developments in animal welfare, behaviour science and veterinary practices to ensure practices remains accurate and evidence-based Keeping the community of owners up to date with quality of care and learning of their pets. Constantly evolving customer experience practices for the team to go beyond. What we're looking for A recognised qualification in animal science, veterinary nursing, animal behaviour, biology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in animal education or care Demonstrable experience working with animals and educating others about animal welfare, behaviour or conservation Ability to work independently and as part of a team A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to promoting responsible attitudes towards animals Animal First aid certification or willingness to obtain it Reliability, patience and a calm demeanour when working with both animals and people What we offer At Tails Up, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional development of our team members.
