Responsibilities Email & Exchange Administration: administration, monitor, and maintain on-premises Microsoft Exchange servers to ensure email delivery, data protection, high availability, DR site , Continuity Planning and peak system performance. Nutanix HCI & Virtualization Management: administration and maintain Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), including cluster health monitoring, storage container management, VM lifecycle management, and performing system/firmware upgrades via Nutanix Prism Central/Element and LCM. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud environments on Alibaba Cloud and/or Tencent Cloud, maintaining services such as ECS, RDS, RAM, Anti-DDoS, WAF, Alibaba Mail. and associated cloud resources. Automation & Scripting: Develop, maintain, and execute PowerShell scripts to automate routine system administration tasks, monitoring alerts, and operational workflows. Network Infrastructure & Security: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances, ensuring secure and seamless connectivity. System Monitoring & Disaster Recovery: Perform continuous infrastructure monitoring, root-cause analysis for technical incidents, backup management, and disaster recovery planning across hybrid environments. Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with 3+ years of hands-on On-premise Exchange email system and cloud infrastructure. Core Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Exchange (On-Premises) administration and troubleshooting. Practical experience managing HCI environments (Nutanix , VMware ESXi). Hands-on administration of public cloud platforms, specifically Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud (ECS, RDS, WAF, Anti-DDoS). Solid understanding of core networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewall administration). Strong PowerShell scripting abilities for automation and systems management. Certifications (Advantageous): Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Engineer, or Alibaba Cloud / Tencent Cloud certifications. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to manage technical incidents independently. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
