About the Role 1 - IB-DP Subject Tutor (Economics): We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Tutor to join our team. You will deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to students following IGCSE, IAL, or IB Economics syllabi, ensuring they grasp complex concepts and achieve their academic goals. About the Role 2 - Eng & Maths Tutor (Junior Year 1-9): We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and versatile tutor to provide comprehensive academic support in BOTH English and Mathematics to students from Year 1 through Year 9. The ideal candidate will excel at creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, adapting their teaching style to individual student needs, and fostering a genuine love for learning across both core subjects. Key Responsibilities (Role 1 - IB-DP Subject Tutor (Economics)): Deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons in English (Cantonese fluency required for local students). Prepare customized teaching materials tailored to students' learning levels and exam requirements. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Adapt teaching methods to suit 1:1 or small-group settings (max 6 students). Maintain a professional and encouraging learning environment. Key Responsibilities (Role 2 - Eng & Maths Tutor (Junior Year 1-9)): Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, structured lessons in English (language, reading, writing, comprehension) and Mathematics, tailored to the equivalent international standards for Years 1-9. Assess students' current levels, identify gaps in knowledge, and develop personalised learning plans to ensure academic progress. Teach foundational literacy and numeracy skills to younger years (Years 1-3) and more advanced concepts, including essay writing, textual analysis, and complex problem-solving, to middle school students (Years 7-9). Monitor and track student progress, providing regular constructive feedback to students and detailed reports to parents. Create a positive, patient, and encouraging learning atmosphere that builds student confidence. Utilise a variety of teaching resources and methods to cater to different learning styles. Essential Requirements(Role 1 - IB-DP Subject Tutor (Economics)): Degree in Economics, Business, or related field (Fresh graduates welcome!). Fluent in English and Cantonese (Must be able to teach in English). Strong subject knowledge of IGCSE/IAL/IB Economics. Valid Hong Kong ID / Working Visa is compulsory. Essential Requirements(Role 2 - Eng & Maths Tutor (Junior Year 1-9)): Education: An undergraduate degree from a recognised university. A minimum of a B grade in both English and Mathematics at A-Level, or a 6 or above in both English and Mathematics at IB Diploma Programme level. Possession of an international secondary school diploma (e.g., A-Levels, IB, or equivalent). Language: Native-level English speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. (Cantonese speakers are preferred.) Subject Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise in both English Language/Literature and Mathematics up to Year 9 (Key Stage 3) level. Personal Attributes: Patience, enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong passion for teaching and mentoring young learners. Ability to build rapport with children and adolescents. Valid Hong Kong ID / Working Visa is compulsory. Preferred Qualifications (Both Roles): Undergraduate degree in a subject-related field from a recognised university. Prior teaching or tutoring experience, particularly with children aged 10-18. Formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/ PGDE, QTS, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent). Experience with a variety of curricula and educational resources. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
