Assist clients with claims, payment issues, and pending shipments, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication. Track the entire shipment lifecycle, from booking to delivery, and keep clients informed with regular updates. Support the sales team by aiding in client quoting and pursuing business opportunities. Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and sales, to facilitate smooth freight services. Negotiate rates with carriers, agents, and offices to secure competitive pricing for clients. Conduct thorough reviews of received pricing for accuracy and completeness. Compile final pricing proposals based on RFQ documents for client submission. Adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to uphold service standards and ensure client satisfaction. Ability to perform effectively under pressure while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Execute ad-hoc tasks and special assignments in accordance with managerial instructions. Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas partners and clients to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Requirement 2 to 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics customer service roles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in negotiation and problem-solving, with a customer-centric approach. Familiarity with freight forwarding processes, including booking, documentation, and customs regulations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing business needs and priorities. Preferably 1 year of relevant working experience; however, candidates without prior experience will also be considered.
