Build & Own CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to support fast, consistent, and reliable releases. Automate Everything: Automate build, test, deployment, and environment provisioning processes to reduce manual effort and eliminate repeatable errors. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience. 1–5 years of experience in DevOps / CI/CD / build & release / automation engineering(Junior to Mid-level). Hands-on experience with Jenkins (pipeline design, shared libraries, credentials, agents/nodes). Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy for Jenkins pipelines). Familiarity with source control and DevOps workflows (Git, branching strategies, code review practices). Understanding of CI/CD best practices: artifact management, automated testing, environment promotion, rollback, and release governance. Comfortable working in Linux environments. Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. ⭐ Bonus Points For Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes). Experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible/Terraform) or cloud platforms(AWS/Azure/GCP). Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/Splunk) and incident management practices. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
