About the role We are seeking a General Labourer to join the team at Precise Works Services Limited. This is a full-time position based in Christchurch, Central Canterbury . As a General Labourer, you will be a vital member of our operations team, providing essential support across various projects and tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work with a professional team on diverse assignments, gaining valuable experience in the trades and services industry. Key responsibilities Performing manual labour tasks on job sites, including site preparation, material handling, and general maintenance Assisting skilled tradespeople with their day-to-day tasks and project requirements Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols Operating and maintaining basic tools and equipment relevant to assigned tasks Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment safely and efficiently Following instructions from supervisors and contributing to project timelines Supporting the team to ensure projects are completed to the required standard What we're looking for Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding manual work in varying weather conditions A strong commitment to health and safety practices on all job sites Reliability, punctuality and a positive, collaborative attitude towards work Basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording information and following instructions The ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and develop experience within the trades and services industry Work Monday to Friday, typically 50+ hours per week What we offer At Precise Works Services Limited, we value our employees and strive to create a supportive working environment.
