The Role We’re seeking an Accountant to join the APAC Corporate team. This busy, hands-on role will be a key part of the regional Finance team and offers a range of responsibilities including managing the day-to-day financial operations, month end accounting and compliance. Responsibilities: Maintain the General Ledger Accounts Manage Fixed Asset/Prepayment/Expense Accrual schedules Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations Reconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis Manage month end closing and statutory financial reporting accurately to meet reporting deadlines Review and analysis of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts Preparation and lodgement of payroll tax and BAS/IAS/GST/VAT Assist with consolidating quarter/half year/year end accounts and prepare papers for the S4 group Assist with financial analysis Liaise with the external tax advisory for any withholding tax (GST/CIT) implications in the existing and new markets Assist with statutory tax lodgement Assist with the Global and local statutory audit Maintain and improve process and internal controls, following up the mitigating action of internal control weaknesses Work with the external bookkeepers/vendors Assist with ad hoc tasks and any other activities directed by Management What you bring to it: Bachelors in Finance/Accounting or related fields 3+ years accounting experience, 1+ years post qualification experience with a similar role APAC experience preferred CPA preferred Year-end reporting and audit experience Month-end experience involving complex accounting treatments Proven experience in consolidation to International Group Company financial reporting Experience in AdTech or technology startups preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments Ability to multi-task with attention to details and minimal supervision
