Experienced Building Code Consultant / Building Surveyor Floreancig Smith Building Surveyors is a well-established, respected, boutique Building Surveying firm located in bustling Cremorne, just a few minutes’ walk from Richmond Station. In this role: You will be provided with an exciting opportunity to further develop and utilise your business skills and knowledge of building regulations, codes and standards. You will be a part of our young & dynamic team of Building Code Consultants You will be required to manage your own clients and undertake all Building Surveying duties from BCA Assessments, regulatory direction and functions of the building surveyor under the supervision of our Building Surveying Directors. Education/ Technical skills required: A minimum of 5 years of experience in High Rise, retail, commercial, industrial and multi-residential Building Surveying. Registered Building Practitioner BS-L or BS-U or working towards registration. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proven technical competency across Act, Regs, NCC & Standards. Personal Attributes Required: Exceptional client management skills. Excellent verbal communication and written skills paired with an acute attention to detail. Ability to work on own initiative Be highly motivated and eager to be part of a rapidly growing business. Have the ability to organize and prioritize own work. Be able to remain calm and professional when under pressure. Possess great work ethic, integrity & professionalism. Work cooperatively with others and build effective working relationships to accomplish common goals and objectives.
