Job Description: Practical Fueling Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our finance team in Rawang/Puncak Alam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the company’s financial health, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Bank Reconciliation. Process monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS), and payroll reporting. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit and Loss, balance sheets, cash flow reports). Review and manage financial forecasts, including managing expenses and ensuring cost control. Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic planning. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax submissions (SST, income tax), audit, and other financial regulations. Maintain proper documentation and financial records for internal control and audit readiness. Manage issuance and records of purchase orders and monitor timely payments and receivables. Support implementation and improvement of accounting systems and internal controls. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions to ensure cost control and financial alignment. Ensure the accuracy of journal entries and financial transactions. Lead or support year-end closing and annual audit processes. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and auditing. Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Ability to speak Mandarin or other Chinese dialects is an added advantage, as the role requires communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
