PE & Sports Teacher – Primary & Secondary Gulf Region, QLD Salary: $97,300–$130,900 (Salary + Remote Allowance) Start Date: Term 1, 2027 – potential flexibility for a Term 4, 2026 commencement Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Gulf Region, Queensland HARKE Recruitment is partnered with a welcoming school community in Queensland’s Gulf region to appoint a passionate PE & Sports Teacher across both Primary and Secondary year levels. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys getting involved beyond the classroom. Alongside delivering engaging Health and Physical Education programs, the successful teacher will play an important role in overseeing and coordinating organised sport across the school. With a generous remote area allowance, relocation / accommodation assistance and annual travel support included, this opportunity offers an attractive package for a teacher looking to experience regional Queensland while securing a permanent position. About the Role The successful teacher will deliver HPE across Primary and Secondary year levels , creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that encourage students to develop healthy, active lifestyles. A key component of the position will also involve overseeing organised sport , helping coordinate sporting activities and opportunities across the school. The position is available from Term 1, 2027 , with the school potentially open to a Term 4, 2026 start for the right candidate.
