About the role We are seeking an experienced HR ER (Employee Relations) Specialist to join the JGQ Group of Companies. This is a full-time position based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As an HR ER Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive employer-employee relationships, managing employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with labour regulations. This position is integral to maintaining a harmonious workplace culture and supporting the strategic human resources objectives of our organisation. What you'll be doing Managing employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution Investigating employee complaints and concerns in a fair, impartial, and timely manner Implementing and maintaining employee relations policies and procedures that comply with labour laws and regulations Providing guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations best practices Conducting exit interviews and analysing employee feedback to identify areas for improvement Developing and delivering training programmes on workplace conduct, policies, and compliance matters Maintaining confidential employee relations documentation and records Liaising with legal and compliance teams on employment matters and regulatory requirements Contributing to the development and enhancement of employee engagement initiatives Supporting the organisation in managing industrial relations matters and union negotiations, where applicable What we're looking for A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or industrial relations roles Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws, regulations, and employment standards Proven experience in handling employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex employee relations situations Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive matters Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is advantageous A professional qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field is preferred Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with the broader HR team Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities What we offer JGQ Group of Companies is committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
