We run late-model equipment fitted with full Trimble Earthworks machine control and pride ourselves on precision, reliability, and doing the job right the first time. The Role We're seeking an experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our team on civil construction projects. You'll be operating a range of GPS-equipped excavators from 5T to 25T to deliver final trim and detailed earthworks to tight tolerances on subdivisions, roadworks, and bulk civil projects. You'll be happy to jump out and help on the ground when required. What You'll Be Doing Final trim and detailed excavation to design on civil projects Operating Trimble GPS machine control (Earthworks) equipped excavators across a 5T–25T range Working to tight tolerances on batters, pads, drainage, and subgrade Getting on the ground to assist with pegs, checks, and general labouring when needed Daily pre-starts, machine care, and maintenance reporting Working closely with supervisors, surveyors, and project teams What We're Looking For Essential: Minimum 3 years' final trim excavator experience on civil construction projects Comfortable operating a range of excavator sizes, from 5T through to 25T Strong understanding of levels, grades, and reading civil drawings Willing to get out of the machine and help on the ground when required Current White Card and relevant plant tickets/competencies A professional attitude — you take pride in your finish and look after your machine Highly Desirable: Trimble GPS machine control experience (Earthworks, GCS900, or similar) Multi-machine experience — trucks, skid steers, graders, etc. Experience across roadworks, subdivisions, and bulk earthworks HR licence or above What's On Offer Competitive hourly rates reflecting your experience Late-model, well-maintained GPS-equipped machinery across a range of sizes Ongoing work with a growing FNQ civil business Direct access to the owner — no layers of management How to Apply Send your resume and a brief summary of your final trim experience through Seek or to accounts@alignedsolutions.com.au
