Aquatics Facility Manager - Mayfield

We are currently looking for an experienced, proactive Facility Manager to step into a 9-month contract to lead our passionate team at Mayfield Pool . What You’ll Be Sinking Your Teeth Into As the Facility Manager, you completely own the site. This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk role, it’s a dynamic leadership position where you drive the culture, safety, and operational standards of the entire facility. Your day-to-day will see you: Leading with Impact: Inspiring, mentoring, and managing our front line team—including lifeguards, swim instructors, and customer service stars—to deliver a first class community experience. Operational Excellence: Ensuring the asset is running beautifully, safely, and in complete compliance with our strict child safety and aquatic safety frameworks. Driving the Pipeline: Partnering with our talent team to activate internal talent pools, manage local rosters, and keep site staffing robust. Community Connection: Being the proud face of Mayfield Pool, building authentic relationships with local families, sporting clubs, and visitors. What You’ll Bring to the Deck We hire for raw potential, attitude, and cultural alignment just as much as qualifications. For this role, you will need: Proven Leadership: Experience managing operations and leading teams within a fast-paced leisure, hospitality, fitness, or multi-site environment. The Aquatic Essentials: A current First Aid & CPR certificate, a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), and ideally, Lifeguard or Pool Operations qualifications (or the willingness to get stuck in and get them!). A Proactive Mindset: Someone who doesn’t wait for a process to break to fix it. You look at things from an outside-the-box perspective and thrive on keeping operations airtight.
