Job Title: Clinical Support Specialist/ Application Support Specialist Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Support Specialist to provide clinical support for our medical devices during surgical procedures. The successful candidate will attend operation cases, support surgeons and operating theatre staff, and ensure all products and equipment are prepared and available for each procedure. Key Responsibilities ● Attend surgical procedures at hospitals to provide clinical support for the company’s medical devices and equipment. ● Prepare and check all required instruments, implants, consumables, and equipment before each surgery. ● Ensure products are available, functioning properly, and ready for use during procedures. ● Provide product support to surgeons and operating theatre staff during surgery in accordance with company guidelines. ● Coordinate surgical case schedules with hospitals and the internal team. ● Assist with product demonstrations, evaluations, and new product introductions. ● Conduct product training and in-service education for hospital staff when required. ● Maintain accurate case records and submit reports after surgical procedures. ● Support inventory management, including loan sets, instruments, implants, and consumables. ● Build and maintain good relationships with surgeons, nurses, and hospital personnel. ● Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control practices, and company procedures. ● Be available to travel and provide support outside normal working hours when surgery schedules require. Requirements ● Diploma, Nursing Certificate, or equivalent qualification. ● Registered Nurse (RN) with Operating Theatre experience is encouraged to apply. ● Candidates with experience as an OT nurse, scrub nurse, circulating nurse, or medical device clinical support are preferred. ● Fresh candidates with an operating theatre background are welcome to apply. ● Good communication and interpersonal skills. ● Responsible, organised, and able to work independently. ● Able to work flexible hours based on operating theatre schedules. ● Willing to travel to hospitals within the assigned territory. ● Possess a valid driving licence and own transport. Preferred Skills ● Familiar with operating theatre procedures and sterile techniques. ● Strong coordination and problem-solving skills. ● Customer-focused with a professional attitude. ● Willing to learn new medical technologies and products.
