About the Role: This role works closely with the design team, merchandising team, and factories on sample fitting. Provide appropriate comments on sample improvements and communicate suggestions for design and production enhancements. Responsibilities: Sample Fitting & Pattern Adjustments: Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, and offshore/local factories on paper pattern adjustments and sample fittings. Factory Communication: Provide clear, precise fitting comments to factories and recommend practical, efficient improvement methods tailored for bulk production. Technical Advisory: Advise designers on fit, garment construction, and workmanship to enhance overall product quality and technical design outcomes. Sample & Pattern Verification: Thoroughly check and modify samples and paper patterns, ensuring complete accuracy in measurements, fit, and construction details. Production Guidance: Offer technical support and guidance throughout the entire sample-making and garment production process. Requirements: F.5 or above, with Certificate/Diploma in Textile or Clothing an advantage. At least 10 years’ experience in sample fitting and production; solid experience with woven items. Sound fabric knowledge and experience working with designers preferred. A good team player with strong communication skills. Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. Familiar with sample making and garment production processes. Excellent technical know‑how in paper pattern making, specifications, and workmanship. Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Chinese Word input methods.
