RTR (GL) Manager - Relocation to Malaysia

Inviting applications for the role of Accountant Record to Report (RTR) role In this role, you will collaborate inside the company with members of the same team or other teams to accomplish the allocated tasks. Budget, cashflow and other corporate reporting, month end close activities, fixed assets capitalization and maintenance, balance sheet and fixed assets reconciliations. Responsibilities Prepare and process month-end journals, perform month end closing and reporting activities, manage stake-holders communications for any exceptions, deviations issue resolutions. Responsible for General ledger including GL reconciliation, Revenue/inventory/cost/intercompany accounting, Accruals/ provisions/ pre-payment accounting, trial balance and preliminary financial statements preparation, Period end activities, IA continuous monitoring etc. Responsible for Fixed asset accounting including Projects & Work Orders set up, Cost Accumulation, Asset book/tax record creation, depreciation calculations, asset depreciation, retirement/ impairment value/ sale & trade of asset recording etc. Responsible for Cost and revenue allocation/ accounting including allocation set up, Cost Analysis, Maintenance of costing sheets, allocations into cost pool, Cost computations (e.g., allocation %s) and validation of allocation entries, Revenue Recognition Accounting, Month end and year end close entries etc. Independently perform tasks which support the compliance, planning and execution of assigned processes. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or (Chartered Accountant) CA Must have at least 5+ years of relevant accounting experiences post degree. Excellent Excel skills. Good analytical skills. Preferred qualifications SAP Experience ACCA/CPA/CIMA Strong GAAP knowledge and good understanding of controls, policies, compliance and process efficiency. Audit experience (preferred) and/or commercial background, Share Service Centers (SSC). Why join Genpact?
