Cloud Technical Support Engineer / Cloud Operations Support Engineer Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Employment Type: Full-Time Working Arrangement: 24/7 rotating shift duty About the Role We are expanding our Technical Support Center in Kuala Lumpur and is looking for motivated individuals to join our Cloud Operations and Technical Support team. This role is suitable for fresh graduates who are passionate about cloud computing, IT infrastructure, technical support, and cloud operations. The team operates on a 24/7 support model, and successful candidates must be willing to work on rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays when scheduled. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and operational support for cloud products and services. Handle customer technical enquiries, incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting cases. Perform first-level diagnosis and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues. Monitor cloud resources, services, system performance, and operational alerts. Support cloud account setup, maintenance, and operational activities. Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical teams when required. Maintain technical documentation, support records, and operational reports. Support daily shift handover and ensure proper case follow-up. Work with various cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer support. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or related disciplines. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong interest in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, system operations, and technical support. Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud platforms, or IT troubleshooting will be an advantage. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Willing to work on 24/7 rotating shifts, including day shifts, evening shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays when scheduled. Each shift is 8 hours, based on the team roster. Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and willingness to learn. Proficiency in both Chinese and English, spoken and written, is required. Ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders. Ability to read and understand technical documentation in both Chinese and English. Applicants must possess valid Malaysian working rights. The Company does not provide any form of employment pass, work visa, or work permit sponsorship for this position. Preferred Qualifications Candidates with internship experience, academic projects, certifications, or hands-on exposure in any of the following areas will have an added advantage: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Microsoft Azure Huawei Cloud Tencent Cloud Alibaba Cloud Linux / Windows server administration Networking basics Cloud monitoring or technical support experience Working Hours & Shift Arrangement 24/7 rotating shift duty. Five working days per week, based on roster arrangement. Each shift is 8 hours. Night shifts will be assigned on a rotational basis. Night shift hours will be compensated at 1.5 times the applicable hourly rate, in accordance with the Company’s night shift policy. Overtime beyond scheduled working hours will be compensated in accordance with applicable Malaysian employment laws and Company policy.
