About the role As an Operations Assistant Manager (Air & Sea) at GLOBAL LOGISTICS INTEGRATOR (THAILAND) CO., LTD.', you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our freight and cargo forwarding operations. This full-time position is based in Phra Khanong, Bangkok, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our dynamic organization. Responsibilities: Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Addressing logistical challenges, resolving shipment issues, and making critical decisions to optimize routes and transportation modes for efficient operations. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with teams across procurement, customs compliance, and transportation to coordinate seamless operations and achieve business objectives. Liaising with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize logistics solutions Leadership and Mentorship: Providing guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence through effective leadership. Managing a team of operations personnel and providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of service Process Improvement and Innovation: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, implementing innovative solutions, and staying abreast of industry trends to drive operational efficiency. Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities: Handling customer queries, managing vendor relationships, and leveraging technology tools for effective shipment tracking and reporting.
