The Role As an Education Counsellor, you will be the face of SG Gateway for aspiring students. You will deliver personalized, expert advice, lead candidates through every step of the admissions journey, and actively contribute to expanding our global footprint through events, strategic marketing, and unique study tour experiences. Core Responsibilities Student Advisory & Admissions Support Deliver personalized counseling sessions to evaluate students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and personal preferences, mapping out customized study pathways. Stay ahead of trends in the Singapore education landscape, including institution entry requirements, visa regulations, admission timelines, and scholarship opportunities. Guide students seamlessly through the full application cycle—from document preparation and essay editing to final submission and enrollment. Strategic Marketing & Event Execution Represent SG Gateway at education fairs, school visits, webinars, workshops, and recruitment seminars. Collaborate on dynamic marketing campaigns, brainstorm outreach strategies, and engage prospective students across social media channels. Build strong connections with partner university representatives to facilitate successful interviews, information sessions, and networking events. Operations, Reporting & Targets Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records, tracking applications and visa progress to ensure high conversion rates. Consistently meet and exceed personal and team enrollment targets. Special Projects Lead and supervise groups of students on short-term study tours and seasonal immersion programs, ensuring an enriching, safe, and memorable educational experience. What We Are Looking For Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher. Experience: 2+ years in student counseling, educational consulting, or direct experience studying abroad in Singapore. Communication: Exceptional command of written and spoken English with natural interpersonal skills. Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with higher education admissions and visa processing systems. Mindset: Proactive, organized, target-driven, and genuinely passionate about empowering students. Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
