Business Development Manager (Logistics Focus)

Job Responsibilities: Formulate and implement logistics sales strategies and plans, including targeted markets, customer segments, and sales targets Develop new clients with potential logistics service needs Conduct market research and business negotiations to build new client relationships and expand the customer base Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for ensuring their needs and satisfaction are met Provide tailored logistics solutions, respond to inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction Prepare sales reports, including sales performance, market data, and customer responses Contribute to sales forecasting by offering market intelligence and customer insights to support business decisions Collaborate with internal parties, such as, operations, customer service, and marketing to ensure smooth execution of logistics services and meet client requirements Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related disciplines Minimum 5 years of logistics related experience Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts, principles, and best practices Familiarity with cargo transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control Proven sales skills with strong ability in client acquisition, negotiation, proposal writing, and presentations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated with professionalism and business etiquette Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Presentable, result-driven, and customer-oriented mindset Familiarity with Chinese writing format is preferred Sinotrans (HK) Logistics Limited is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
