We’re looking for a talented Senior Automotive Technician to join our Rangiora workshop. About the role As a Senior Automotive Technician , you will: Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and determine required repairs. Service and repair vehicles , including routine maintenance, wheel alignments, inspections, and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. Replace and repair parts , including engines, transmissions, brakes and other key components. Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed. Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues, repair options and costs. Follow safety standards to protect yourself, the team and our customers. Commit to continuous learning , staying up to date with new automotive technologies and systems. About you The ideal technician will have: A genuine passion for the automotive industry and high-quality workmanship. A Trade Certified Automotive qualification . A current Warrant of Fitness issuing authority or the willingness to obtain one. A full New Zealand driver’s licence . Automotive electrical skills , or a strong desire to develop in this area.
