Applications are now invited for the following post: Assistant Project Manager I Office of Campus Development and Management (Post Ref.: 26/214) Responsibilities Plan and manage capital works, alteration, addition and improvement (AA&I) and minor work projects on campus and related off-campus locations Develop Building Information Modelling (BIM) policies and provide BIM trainings Prepare designs and proposals for campus development and improvement projects Liaise with the Government departments, project stakeholders and users in matters relating to campus projects Prepare tender documents and assist in the tendering process Monitor and control project progress Conduct regular audit to ensure compliance with statutory and technical requirements Manage the BIM process, workflows, and modelling Steer digitization and smart campus development Support the facilities management on the application of BIM Advise on the latest BIM and AI related technologies Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) Requirements A recognized Degree or equivalent qualifications in Building Studies/ Building Services/ Engineering/ Construction Management/ Architecture or other related discipline Possession of Construction Industry Council certified BIM manager or equivalent Possession of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the building industry with BIM work experience Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, and self-motivated Proficient in computer skills on Building Information Modelling, including but not limited to Revit and other 3D modelling software Proficient in verbal and written English and Chinese Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank. Salary and Fringe Benefits The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
