Product Designer (Textile & Packaging)

We are looking for a Product Designer to design and develop textile-based products for our Bed & Bath category, packaging, and marketing collateral for the Frolina brand, as well as B2B/OEM projects and design support for our affiliated factories. The role is primarily focused on textile pattern design and development based on client briefs — from receiving the brief, developing designs, preparing production files, through to sample follow-up and revisions before mass production. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to new Frolina collections, covering concept, pattern, color, materials, and packaging design across various lifestyle products. This role suits someone who enjoys design that translates into real, producible output — detail-oriented, able to work within technical specifications, and open to feedback while learning the full production process. Responsibilities Design patterns for textile products, especially towels and bath, bedding, and fabric-based lifestyle products Develop repeat patterns and layouts suited to product size, material, printing/weaving techniques, and machine constraints Design and adapt patterns based on OEM client briefs, balancing client needs, aesthetics, functionality, cost, and production feasibility Support Frolina collection design — from mood & tone, concept, pattern, colorway, through to product application Design packaging, boxes, tags, labels, inserts, and other product collateral Prepare artwork and production files for factory handoff Prepare technical specs: dimensions, Pantone colors, color codes, pattern placement, materials, and production techniques Review and revise artwork, strike-offs, lab dips, and mock-ups/samples prior to production approval Coordinate with the Product Design Supervisor, Sales, Production, factories/suppliers, and related teams to ensure work meets brief and deadlines Manage licensed content per brand guidelines and licensor approval processes, including file prep, submission, revisions, and approval tracking Verify accuracy of text, color, size, and design details before production to minimize errors, rework, and delays Organize and maintain design files systematically for easy retrieval and handoff Support other design tasks as needed based on project priority Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, Decorative Arts, or related field Open to fresh graduates or candidates with experience in Textile, Surface Pattern, Packaging, or Product Design Foundational skills in pattern design, composition, color, and repeat patterns Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Able to prepare artwork and production-ready files Basic understanding of color systems (Pantone, CMYK, RGB) Interest in or basic knowledge of fabric, materials, printing/weaving techniques, or textile production processes Able to read briefs, follow brand guidelines, and revise designs based on feedback Detail-oriented, especially regarding color, size, text, and pattern placement before production Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, including urgent requests Able to work under deadlines and pressure Responsible, collaborative, and clear communicator with cross-functional teams Open to feedback and continuous improvement within production constraints Preferred Qualifications Experience in Textile Design, Surface Pattern Design, Home Textile, or Bed & Bath products Understanding of repeat pattern development, color separation, or file prep for print/weaving Packaging design experience, including working with or adapting dielines Experience working with factories/suppliers, OEM projects, or multi-round review/approval processes Experience with licensed products or working within brand guidelines Able to create mock-ups to present concepts and visualize pattern application on products Interest in color/pattern/material trends, Home & Lifestyle products, and consumer behavior Able to use AI or other tools to support research, ideation, or design efficiency Working Conditions This role covers both OEM projects and Frolina brand work. For OEM projects, you'll learn to translate client requirements into production-ready designs, working systematically and precisely while coordinating and revising work per client, factory, or licensor requirements. For Frolina, you'll help develop new collections, patterns, colors, packaging, and products — expanding the brand from Bed & Bath into a broader Home & Lifestyle range.
