Great chefs don't have time. We give it back to them. For 10 years INNOFOODS has supplied pre-prepared and value-added food solutions to the best kitchens in Hong Kong and Macau — products that let chefs build exciting new dishes while cutting hours of prep. We're looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to open new foodservice accounts and grow the ones we already love working with. This is a hunting role with a real product behind it. If you enjoy walking into a kitchen, talking food with a chef, and leaving with a trial order — read on. What you'll do ● Open new accounts across hotels, restaurants, caterers and chains — you own the pipeline from first call to first order ● Sit down with chefs, F&B managers and owners, run tastings, and turn interest into standing orders ● Grow existing customers: more SKUs, bigger volumes, longer relationships ● Build a territory plan you actually believe in, and report against it honestly ● Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Customer Service, Supply Chain and Logistics so what you sell arrives on time and in perfect condition Your first 90 days: complete product and kitchen training, take over 40 existing accounts, and open your first 5 new ones. What you'll bring ● 3+ years selling into Hong Kong's F&B or foodservice trade — you know how a kitchen buys ● A track record of hitting number, and the numbers to prove it ● Comfortable opening cold doors and equally comfortable keeping a relationship warm for years ● Sharp communicator and negotiator in Cantonese and English (Mandarin a plus) ● Organised — CRM notes updated the same day, not the same quarter ● A genuine interest in food. Curiosity about what's cooking beats a polished pitch every time What we offer ● Base salary plus an uncapped bonus scheme ● Private medical insurance ● Transport and phone allowance ● 12 days annual leave, rising with service ● Product training with our chefs, plus a real path to Sales Manager as we grow ● Staff discounts on our premium range — the best perk, ask anyone here Why INNOFOODS We're a small, focused team where good ideas move fast and you'll never wait three weeks for a decision. Our product range is genuinely different — you'll be selling solutions chefs get excited about, not another commodity line. Interested? Send your CV to careers@inno-foods.com with a short note on the best account you ever opened and how you did it. We reply to every application within 5 working days, and our process is a call, a coffee with the team, and a final chat with the MD — done inside two weeks. Personal data collected will be used for recruitment purposes only.

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.
Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.
The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.
Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
