As a key partner to major Food & Beverage (F&B) production plants, our client is recognized for operational excellence and a performance-driven culture. They are currently seeking a strategic Sales Engineer to lead their business development and technical consulting functions for their Thailand operations. Job Summary This role is critical in driving sales growth and expanding commercial market share within the robust Food & Beverage (F&B) manufacturing sector. Beyond technical consultative sales, you will drive business strategy by transitioning from transactional equipment replacement to designing long-term, energy-efficient centralized engineering solutions for key plant stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Drive sales growth, replacement systems, and aftermarket services within food processing and packaging plants across Thailand. Conduct on-site technical audits to evaluate operational requirements for lines like meat, dairy, canning, and MAP packaging. Nurture relationships with key engineering heads, maintenance managers, and purchasing departments within major food conglomerates. Collaboratively design technical proposals, select appropriate technologies based on application demands, and present ROI/energy-saving calculations. Identify and acquire new B2B customer accounts within F&B sectors (ready-to-eat meals, snacks, seafood, dairy, and beverage bottling plants). Analyze customer requirements regarding flow speeds, cycle times, pressure metrics, and hygiene environments to recommend the correct technical solutions. Promote the migration from localized, single units to integrated, energy-efficient centralized systems, pitching directly to Plant Directors and CAPEX teams. Job Requirements Education background in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Mechatronics, or industrial-related field). Proven track record in B2B engineering product sales. Experience in possess direct commercial exposure dealing with food production plants. Ability to interpret technical drawings, process flows, and machine layouts. Understanding of packaging machinery or pneumatic systems is a massive advantage. Good command of English. Strong presentation, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills. Prefer to possess a personal vehicle and a valid driving license, with a willingness to travel regularly to industrial estates (e.g., Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Eastern Seaboard).
