About the role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced multinational environment, supporting day-to-day financial operations and contributing to key finance projects. Key responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and management accounts Support month-end and year-end closing activities Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities Perform data entry and reconciliation of financial transactions Assist in internal and external audit preparation Support the team in compliance with local regulatory requirements and Sanofi's internal financial policies Participate in process improvement initiatives within the Finance function Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance team About you Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Minimum completion of 2nd year of studies (preferred) Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP) is an added advantage Good command of written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines A proactive, self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn Must be available for the full internship duration of 4 – 6 months About us Sanofi is a global biopharmaceutical company committed to chasing the miracles of science to improve people's lives.
