Education Centre Instructor

Full-Time Instructor (Mathematics, Science, Programming & Preschool) Gakken Education is looking for a passionate and energetic Full-Time Instructor to join our education team. You will teach and support children aged 2–12 years old across our Mathematics, Science, Programming and Preschool programmes . We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and believes in helping them develop confidence, independence, logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct engaging Maths, Science, Programming and Preschool lessons. Teach children aged 2–12 according to Gakken's curriculum and teaching approach. Encourage children to think, explore and solve problems independently. Conduct hands-on Science experiments and Programming activities. Observe and monitor each student's learning progress. Provide appropriate guidance based on individual learning abilities. Manage the classroom and maintain a positive, safe and engaging learning environment. Prepare teaching materials, worksheets and classroom resources. Conduct trial lessons and diagnostic assessments when required. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's learning progress. Provide parents with appropriate programme and learning recommendations. Participate in instructor training, coaching and lesson observations. Support school holiday programmes, workshops and educational events. Work closely with the Centre Manager and teaching team to maintain Gakken's teaching standards. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, IT/Computer Science or a related field. 1–2 years of teaching or education-related experience. Experience working with children aged 2–12 is preferred. Passionate about teaching and working with children. Patient, responsible, energetic and positive. Good communication and classroom management skills. Comfortable communicating with parents. Good command of spoken and written English. Willing to learn and teach across multiple Gakken programmes. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work on weekends. Training will be provided for Gakken's curriculum, teaching methodology, Science activities and Programming programmes.
