Main responsibilities 1. Production Operations & People Management Lead and supervise daily production activities to meet production output, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets. Plan and allocate manpower to ensure effective utilization of resources and smooth production operations. Conduct daily production meetings, communicate priorities, and provide guidance and support to production operators. Monitor production performance, including output, downtime, productivity, efficiency, and overtime, and implement corrective actions when required. Coach, develop, and motivate production employees to build capability, engagement, and operational discipline. 2. Production Performance, Quality & Inventory Control Own daily production performance and drive actions to achieve plant KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Investigate production losses, downtime, quality issues, and inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented. Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineering teams to resolve process and product quality issues. Ensure accurate inventory management within production areas, including stock reconciliation and inventory counting activities. Manage production labels and related documentation Perform production and inventory transactions in SAP, including production confirmation, material consumption, inventory reconciliation, and related system records. Maintain and ensure accuracy of production-related master data, digital records, and operational databases to support reliable reporting and manufacturing processes. 3. EHS, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with company policies, Responsible Care requirements, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and other applicable regulations. Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, supervision, training, and workplace inspections. Support internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency through Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and utilize Power BI dashboards and digital tools to monitor production performance, support data-driven decision making, and enhance operational visibility. Maintain and continuously improve production-related digitalization systems, reports, and master data to ensure data accuracy and business sustainability. Support plant improvement projects and other assigned responsibilities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of production experience, preferably in the chemical industry. Strong planning and management skills. Fair command of written and spoken English. Experience in SAP, Power BI, or other data visualization and digital manufacturing tools is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
