The Joints Sales Lead is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors to achieve sales targets, grow market share for joint replacement products, and build strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, hospitals, and key stakeholders in Hong Kong. This role combines strategic account management, field-based clinical support, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver excellent customer service and compliant commercial execution. Key responsibilities include the following: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales and clinical field team. Set clear objectives, align team goals to territory and regional priorities, and drive accountability through regular performance reviews and coaching. Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet or exceed revenue, volume, and market share targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre staff, hospital procurement, and KOLs. Provide clinical and procedural support during pre-op planning and in the operating theatre as required (device/implant selection, instrumentation, and technique support). Identify and develop new business opportunities (new accounts, product conversions, implant usage growth). Coordinate with marketing, education and supply chain to plan and deliver surgeon training, workshops, and product launches. Accurately forecast sales, manage sales pipeline, and report performance metrics. Ensure commercial activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Manage contract negotiations, tender participation, and pricing discussions in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
