Veterinary Patient Care Assistant

About the role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Patient Care Assistant to join our team at the Advanced VetCare Veterinary Centre in the Bedok East Region in Singapore. This full-time role will involve supporting our veterinary professionals in providing exceptional care and services to our patients and their owners. Key responsibilities Assisting veterinarians and veterinary nurses with examinations, treatments and procedures Handling and restraining animals during consultations and procedures in a calm and gentle manner Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment, including restocking supplies Providing exceptional customer service to clients, including greeting patients and their owners, scheduling appointments and addressing any queries or concerns Performing administrative tasks such as data entry and filing Ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and biosecurity at all times About you Previous experience working in a veterinary or animal care setting, either in a clinical or customer service role Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with both clients and the veterinary team Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and protocols with precision Adaptability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care A team-oriented approach and the willingness to learn and grow in the role Benefits Competitive salary Opportunities for ongoing training and development About us Our modern, well-equipped clinic is staffed by a team of highly skilled and experienced veterinary professionals, all dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
