Bayleys Property Services is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Property Accountant to join our high-performing Commercial Property team. This is a pivotal role providing financial leadership across key commercial property portfolios, including responsibility for stakeholder management and finance deliverables including budgeting, reporting, opex reconciliations, and financial compliance. Working closely with Property Managers, clients, and the wider finance team, you'll play an integral role in delivering exceptional property accounting outcomes. What you'll be doing Leading finance deliverables for key commercial property portfolios Managing accounts payable and receivable processes Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Completing bank reconciliations, GST returns, and general ledger reviews Preparing and reviewing operating expense wash-ups Assisting with annual budget preparation and forecasting Providing financial analysis, variance reporting, and commentary to clients and stakeholders Supporting audit requirements and compliance obligations Building strong relationships with Property Managers, fund accountants, and client representatives What we're looking for Proven experience in property accounting preferred Strong understanding of budgeting, reporting, GST, reconciliations, and financial controls Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capability Advanced systems and computer skills, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes Why join Bayleys?
