IT EXECUTIVE

About the role Car Medic Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT Executive to join our dynamic team in Kajang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting and developing our information technology infrastructure and systems. As an IT Executive, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and business objectives, ensuring that our IT operations run smoothly and efficiently whilst driving technological innovation across the organisation. What you'll be doing Developing, maintaining and optimising software applications and systems to support business operations Writing clean, efficient and well-documented code using industry best practices and standards Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical issues in a timely manner Participating in system design and architecture discussions to improve overall IT infrastructure Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members Maintaining comprehensive documentation of systems, processes and technical specifications Supporting the implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance organisational efficiency Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline 1-2 years of professional experience in software development or IT systems management Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C# or JavaScript Understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL databases) Experience with web application development frameworks and technologies Knowledge of software development methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/deployment pipelines Preferred: Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud), API development, or system integration projects What we offer Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications A collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creative problem-solving Incentives and wellness benefits Career advancement opportunities within our growing organisation Access to modern technology and tools About us Car Medic Sdn Bhd is a forward-thinking organisation committed to delivering excellence in the automotive services industry.
