About the role This is a Forklift Operator role in a warehouse or industrial facility. You will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, place, and lift goods and raw materials in and out of storage areas, racking, receiving points, and loading/unloading zones. Key responsibilities Operate forklift to move, place pallets, and lift goods/raw materials in and out of storage areas, racking, receiving points, and loading/unloading zones Verify accuracy of product type, quantity, and product codes against documents (e.g. goods receipt notes, delivery notes, purchase orders) Arrange goods in an orderly, neat, and safe manner to prevent damage to goods and warehouse structure Perform daily inspection of forklift condition before starting work, including brake system, tyres, engine oil/battery, hydraulic system, and lights/horn Report problems or damage to the forklift to your supervisor immediately Clean and charge/refuel the forklift to keep it in working condition at all times Comply strictly with forklift safety regulations and company safety measures Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety helmet, safety shoes, and reflective vest at all times while working Prevent and be cautious to avoid accidents to yourself, coworkers, goods, and company property Assist with warehouse storage, stock inventory checks (Physical Count/Stock Take) with the warehouse team About you Education: Lower secondary school (Grade 9) or higher Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience operating forklift in warehouse or industrial factory Valid forklift operation safety training certificate as required by law Basic knowledge of forklift engine/battery maintenance Good physical health and fitness with no vision problems or movement limitations Observant, meticulous, safety-conscious, and able to work well with others
