About the role Planning Supervisor role responsible for controlling, overseeing, and planning production planning and material planning in alignment with production plans and customer requirements. The role involves managing production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, analyzing production capacity, and optimizing resource utilization for maximum efficiency. Key responsibilities Control, oversee, and plan production planning and material planning to align with production plans and customer requirements Manage production plans to ensure on-time delivery of goods Analyze production capacity and plan resource utilization for maximum efficiency Control production plan preparation, tag issuance, and track material readiness Monitor material status in coordination with procurement, warehouse, and related departments to prevent material shortages Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, warehouse, procurement, sales, and customer teams to resolve issues and adjust production plans Control SAP and ERP system usage to ensure data accuracy and currency Analyze problems affecting production plans and establish preventive measures and improvements Prepare KPI reports and present operational results to management Develop and improve production planning processes to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and support Kaizen/Lean Manufacturing activities Manage the Planning team, assign tasks, monitor results, and develop team capabilities About you Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Planning/Material Planning Minimum 2 years of supervisory level experience Experience in the automotive industry will be given special consideration Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Knowledge and ability to use SAP and ERP systems Knowledge of MRP, Production Planning, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain Leadership capability to manage teams and resolve problems effectively Strong data analysis, planning, and decision-making skills Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments, external parties, and customers
