About the role We are looking for an experienced, visionary, and dedicated Kindergarten Principal to lead our Early Years program. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, committed to Sunnah values, and capable of building a nurturing, high-quality, and globally-minded learning environment for children from four. Key responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop the overall operation of the Kindergarten unit, ensuring alignment with the school's vision, mission, and #GoBeyond philosophy. Oversee the implementation of the mastery-based curriculum, integrating Cambridge International standards, Sunnah Studies, and STEAM in daily learning. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate kindergarten teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of teaching and care. Foster the development of "The Dars Star" character values in every student. Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, staff, and the wider school community. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for learners. Monitor student progress and well-being, and ensure effective communication with parents regarding academic and character development. Manage kindergarten administration, including scheduling, resources, and compliance with school and educational regulations. Collaborate with school leadership to support the continuity of the "One Journey, From Four" educational pathway. Requirement Bachelor's degree (S1) in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, Psychology, or a related field; a relevant Master's degree is an advantage. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in early childhood/kindergarten education, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong understanding of early childhood development and international curriculum frameworks. Practicing children with solid Sunnah knowledge and character, able to model and instill sunnah values in children. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage. Passionate, patient, creative, and genuinely enjoys working with children. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Willing to be based in South Jakarta (Pejaten Barat, Pasar Minggu).
