About the role The Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the warehouse and logistics billing process, ensuring that invoices are accurate, complete, timely, and properly supported by operational documentation. This role works closely with warehouse, transportation, finance, customer service, and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain accurate customer and vendor accounts. Key responsibilities Manage the daily billing process for warehouse, storage, transportation, handling, and related logistics services. Review billing data, shipment records, delivery documents, purchase orders, and service charges for accuracy. Ensure invoices are prepared and issued accurately and on schedule. Monitor warehouse-related charges including storage, receiving, picking, packing, loading, unloading, and handling fees. Reconcile billing records against warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation systems, and accounting records. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, credit notes, short payments, and customer billing disputes. Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to verify services completed and charges incurred. Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue customer payments when required. Prepare billing reports, revenue reports, and management summaries.
