About us Joy In Movement is Australia's first fully automated infrared fitness studio. No instructor in the room, infrared-powered 30-minute sessions running every hour, 5am to 9pm - 365 days a year. We're low-impact, high-results, and built for real people living real lives. We're not a gym. We're J.I.M. and yes, there's a difference. About the role You're the heartbeat of our Lambton studio. You attract new members, convert interest into memberships, build a community that sticks, and keep the day-to-day running smoothly. Key responsibilities Welcoming current and new members and delivering an experience worth talking about Reaching out to local businesses and building community partnerships Following up leads via phone and SMS - booking trials and closing memberships Generating organic leads utilising social media, the existing member network and offline strategies Managing CRM, memberships, reporting, pauses and cancellations Running member challenges, celebrating milestones and hosting studio events Creating and posting content across social media (reels, stories, local engagement) Keeping the studio looking great and running like clockwork About you A genuine people person - warm, energetic and naturally builds connection Active on social media and comfortable creating content Previous experience in social media content creation beyond personal use Confident on the phone and in a sales conversation is essential Self-motivated and able to work autonomously Someone who loves movement and wellness as part of their lifestyle Locally connected or hungry to be Minimum of 3 years' experience in customer service or sales roles is essential Able and willing to work across both studio locations when required (Lambton & Warners Bay) Not afraid of an early morning or a late night – our studios operate from 5am-9:30pm Able to work weekends Benefits Run a studio like it's yours - real autonomy, real ownership Work for a brand that's actually fun to represent Free studio membership across both Newcastle locations Flexible hours that can work around your life where needed Tiered commission structure built around the success of the studio
