IT Officer (Network)

As IT Officer (Network), you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and support of our college's network infrastructure. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring robust, secure and reliable network operations that support the academic and administrative functions of the institution. Duties: Administer and maintain network switching infrastructure and firewall policies to support secure and reliable Teaching & Learning (T&L) operations Provision, monitor and support enterprise Wi-Fi services to ensure seamless connectivity and enhance staff productivity Manage and support the virtualization server farm, SAN storage and related infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability and capacity planning Liaise with external vendors to evaluate and implement cost-effective IT solutions and technologies that support business needs Coordinate IT procurement activities, service and maintenance renewals, and IT asset lifecycle management in compliance with institutional policies Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Networking, Information Technology or a related discipline A minimum of 3 years' working experience Knowledge of project management methodologies and industry frameworks, including Cisco CCNA (or equivalent networking knowledge), ITIL Foundation (IT Service Management), and Microsoft / Azure Fundamentals Familiarity with infrastructure administration tools and platforms, including PuTTY, vCenter, Veeam, Windows and Linux Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, network and infrastructure operations, and basic cybersecurity principles Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills A proactive team player with a willingness to learn new technologies Our Benefits: Medical and Dental Benefits, Flexible Work Arrangements Birthday leave, Marriage Leave Education Sponsorship, Night Shift Allowance Examination Leave MPF Employer Voluntary Contribution Interested parties please submit a cover letter, together with a full resume indicating your availability, present and expected salary (insufficient information may not be considered).
