We're Hiring! Opening Position: 1 Software Developer & Project Manager (Digital Transformation) Join us in building the digital foundation for TIEC's next stage of growth. As we accelerate our digital transformation, we are looking for a Software Developer & Project Manager to build, integrate, and manage the technology solutions that support our business. As TIEC's first full-time Software Developer, you will have a high level of ownership, from understanding business requirements and developing systems to managing implementation and coordinating external technology partners. Your work will directly shape how TIEC operates, manages data, and serves customers. Your key priorities Internal Business Systems – Develop and improve systems supporting sales, inventory, service, and operations. Data & Database Foundation – Build reliable databases and data structures for reporting and decision-making. Digital Platforms – Enhance TIEC's corporate website and e-commerce platform. Digital Project Management – Lead technology projects from requirements and planning through development, implementation, and delivery. How you'll make an impact Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain business applications that improve daily operations and support business growth. System & Database Development: Design and manage relational databases, data structures, and integrations to create a reliable foundation for business data. Web & E-Commerce: Develop and maintain the corporate website and Shopify platform, working with external partners on technical and digital improvements. System Integration: Build and manage APIs and integrations between internal systems, third-party platforms, and cloud services. Project Management: Manage digital projects from requirements gathering and planning through development, testing, implementation, and completion. Business Analysis: Work directly with business teams to understand operational challenges, translate requirements into technical solutions, and prioritize improvements. Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve workflows, and increase operational efficiency. Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate outsourced developers and technology partners, managing requirements, timelines, deliverables, and implementation quality. System Performance & Security: Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, maintainability, and security. Your professional profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years in software development, web application development, business systems, or a combination of software development and technology project management. Software Development: Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying production software used by real users. Database Skills: Experience designing and working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. API & Integration: Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party systems or services. Project Management: Ability to plan projects, define requirements, manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and drive projects through to completion. Business Understanding: Ability to understand business processes and translate operational requirements into practical technology solutions. Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ownership & Problem Solving: Self-driven, analytical, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept to implementation. Preferred Experience working in a small team or fast-growing business with high ownership. Experience with PHP, React, Next.js, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS, or similar modern web technologies. Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms. Experience with n8n, Zapier, Make, or other workflow automation tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms, SaaS integrations, or middleware. Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, BI, or business intelligence tools. Experience managing external developers or technology vendors. About the Company Test Instrument Engineering Co., Ltd.
