Solution Consultant (Tech Solutions)

About the role As a Tech Solutions Consultant, you will become the trusted advisor during the pre-sales and solution design stages of a project. You will work closely with clients to understand their business goals, identify challenges, recommend technology solutions, estimate implementation efforts, and ensure successful transition into delivery. This role combines business consulting, solution architecture, technical pre-sales, stakeholder management, project scoping, and commercial support. Key responsibilities Lead discovery workshops with prospective and existing clients to understand business objectives, customer journeys, operational challenges, and digital commerce strategies Design scalable D2C and ecommerce solutions aligned with client objectives, recommending appropriate technology stacks including Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM & CDP platforms, OMS & WMS, ERP integrations, payment gateways, loyalty platforms, and customer service platforms Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Project teams to validate technical feasibility and create high-level architecture diagrams and business process flows Support Commercial teams throughout the sales cycle by helping qualify opportunities, estimating implementation effort, timelines, resources, and project complexity Prepare Statements of Work (SOW), define project scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, and produce functional requirement documents and solution documentation Build trusted relationships with clients and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders Present complex technical concepts in a simple business-friendly manner and manage expectations proactively Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or any role if have direct experience 3–6+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, technology consulting, or solution consulting Experience participating in client-facing solution discussions Experience working with cross-functional teams Experience in software implementation or digital transformation projects Understanding of ecommerce architecture, API integrations, system integrations, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), databases, web technologies, digital marketing ecosystem, customer journeys, martech stack, and omnichannel commerce Excellent presentation skills, strong stakeholder management, client relationship management, and workshop facilitation abilities Curious and eager to learn new technologies, solutions-oriented with a can-do attitude, proactive and self-driven Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills, able to balance technical details with business priorities, collaborative and team-oriented Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento / Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM / CDP platforms, ERP integrations, OMS, WMS, payment gateway integrations, APIs, middleware, or cloud platforms About us aCommerce is Southeast Asia's leading ecommerce enablement company, helping brands build, operate, and grow their Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and Omnichannel businesses across the region.
