About the role The HSE Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring the implementation of occupational safety and health and environmental programs at Wahoo Waterworld in accordance with applicable regulations. The main duties include planning, monitoring, reporting, and evaluating the company's operational activities. The HSE Assistant Manager also coordinates with internal and external parties regarding the implementation of the company's K3LH program. This role is fully responsible for the daily operations of Lifeguards, Pool Attendants and Water Treatment team and their duties and responsibilities in maintaining the satisfaction and safety of Visitors as well as the cleanliness of the ride area and the functioning of all facilities. Key responsibilities Developing and implementing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies in accordance with legal and corporate guidelines Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards and developing preventative strategies Organizing safety training for employees to ensure awareness and understanding of safety and environmental practices and legislation Monitoring compliance with policies, performing site inspections, and preparing detailed reports on findings Leading emergency response initiatives and conducting investigations after incidents to establish causes and preventive measures Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g., fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, occupational diseases, and waste management Maintaining current knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental matters that impact the organization Collaborating with internal leadership and external regulatory bodies to maintain compliance standards Handling safety/regulatory audits both internally and externally Preparing and updating emergency response procedures and accident reports About you Responsible for overseeing lifeguard staff, ensuring water safety, and maintaining emergency response protocols at aquatic facilities Supervise hiring, training, and scheduling of lifeguards while enforcing safety regulations Inspect equipment, handle incidents, and communicate with facility management to ensure a safe environment for patrons and staff Leads by example and requires exemplary organization, attention to detail, leadership skills, excellent Guest and Team Member engagement, training, knowledge of the product, and service standards Coordinate efficiently and effectively with third-party management regarding team attendance, procurement of goods, and storage of goods in accordance with procedures and administrative procedures
