A Japanese trading company is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to provide frontline support that helps employees work efficiently and securely. This role is responsible for resolving day-to-day IT issues, supporting Microsoft 365 and end-user technologies, managing user access and IT assets, and helping employees work efficiently, securely, and productively. You will also have opportunities to expand your experience beyond traditional help desk activities through exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, cloud services, business applications, automation, analytics, AI, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 1–2 IT support for user incidents and service requests involving Windows devices, Microsoft 365, remote access, printers, mobile devices, meeting-room technology, and standard business applications. Log, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets; escalate complex issues to internal teams or vendors with clear technical information and follow through until closure. Support employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, including account provisioning, Microsoft 365 access, group membership, shared mailboxes, remote access, and user permissions according to approved requests and security policies. Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, notebooks, peripherals, mobile devices, meeting-room equipment, and standard corporate software. Coordinate hardware repair, replacement, warranty claims, vendor support, loan equipment, and asset returns. Provide guidance and user support for Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Power Platform, and other approved business tools. Work with system owners and business users to identify recurring issues and opportunities for process, reporting, dashboard, and service improvements. Maintain accurate IT asset and software license records, including computers, accessories, mobile devices, and loan equipment, and support periodic inventory checks. Support endpoint and access security activities, including patching, antivirus/EDR, password resets, encryption, secure data handling, phishing awareness, and security incident escalation. Create and maintain IT documentation, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles. Conduct short user training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote effective use of IT tools and reduce recurring support issues. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years’ experience in IT Helpdesk/Service Desk/Desktop Support in a corporate environment. Good troubleshooting skills in: Windows 11 Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Printers and multifunction devices Mobile and endpoint devices Meeting-room and conferencing equipment Common corporate business applications Hands-on experience with user identity and access administration, such as: Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID Microsoft 365 Admin Center User and group management Shared mailboxes Password resets VPN / Remote Access Basic access and permission management Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN and Remote Access services. Basic understanding of endpoint and cybersecurity practices, including endpoint protection, patch management, encryption, phishing awareness, and security incident escalation. Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. High level of ownership, responsibility, and accountability. Able to maintain clear IT documentation, support records, asset/license inventories, and knowledge base articles. Strong customer-service mindset with good communication, prioritization, teamwork, and vendor coordination skills. Good command of Thai and business English.
